A Short Trip to Jupiter

Spring has arrived, and with it, Passover vacation!

ALL I EVER WANTED

Passover is the holiday that celebrates the Jews’ exodus from slavery in Egypt (see: The Prince of Egypt). Because I work at a Jewish school, we have Passover break instead of spring break, and I have planned a trip away from the frozen tundra.

Yes, i t's still snowing..

Yes, it’s still snowing..

Even though it’s been spring for ~10 days, Boston seem to have missed that memo.

In less than a week, I’ll be jetting off to beautiful Jupiter, Florida, the cozy beach town most famously known for being the setting for the fourth season of American Horror Story. Which I refuse to watch.

Also, it was filmed in New Orleans.

Also, it was filmed in New Orleans.

Jupiter is also where I attended high school and where my family lived until my second year of college. I’ll be in Jupiter for 6 days visiting family and friends.

Even though it’s the rainy season, I’m hoping for a few days to soak up as much vitamin D as possible.

Then it’s off for two nights and a day to Washington, DC. I will be visiting my new school, Georgetown University, where I’m happy to say that I’ll be doing a master’s at the School of Foreign Service in German and European studies!

Wheeee!

I will be moving at the end of the summer!

Then off to New York City (via a train? bus?) to see one of my favorite bands finish off their most recent tour!

The best part of all of this is that I’ll be seeing so many people I’ve missed for so long. I can’t wait!
